The Challenge
What our client was facing
Formwork manufacturing process includes a lot of welding which causes a lot of harmonic distortion in the electrical network which results in massive penalties from electrical provider, so our challenge was to study the case and save as much in penalties.
Our Solution
How we solved the problem
Pro Serve successfully studied the network and analyzed the network to study the harmonic effect on the network to beable to select the corresponding reactors and accordingly the panels were manufactured in under 1 month and delivered causing almost 95% saving in the penalties that were applied.
ProServe’s highly technical team provided a major cost- and time-efficient upgrade for our power factor panels that were not keeping power factor levels at 80%, after the study and panel supply our yearly penalties were reduced from 5M to around 50K per year.
